User privacy

Text you enter for rewriting, including pasted content and the refined output the service returns.

Refinement settings you choose, such as modes, additional options, and strength level.

History and saved refinements you keep in the app, including input text, output text, timestamps, and saved status.

Plan and usage data stored on your device, such as your selected plan tier and how many refinements you have used today.

Display preferences, including whether Nightshade mode is enabled.

When you request a rewrite, your input and selected settings are sent to our backend so the rewrite can be generated. The request is processed to produce refined text and is not used to train models through this app.

If cloud sync is enabled in your build, refinements may also be stored in our database so they can sync across sessions tied to your anonymous account.

We do not sell your text or use it for advertising.

Much of your history and preferences are stored locally on your device using on-device storage.

When Supabase is configured, the app may create an anonymous account so rewrites and history can be saved remotely. You can remove local history from Settings using "Clear local data". Clearing local data removes refinements stored on the device and, when signed in, deletes your remote refinement history for that account.

AI credit counters and plan selection are stored locally unless you connect a billing system in a future release.

We use infrastructure and AI providers to operate the app, including hosting, authentication, database, and text generation services. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service and under their own security and privacy terms.

Export and share features use your device's system share sheet; we do not receive a copy of files you export unless you send them to us separately.

Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

Remote refinement history remains until you clear it through the app or we delete it in line with our operational policies.

Anonymous authentication identifiers may persist so the app can restore your session.

You can avoid entering sensitive information you do not want processed by the rewrite service.

You can clear local refinement data at any time from Settings.

You can copy or export refined text using the in-app actions provided.

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you use the app from outside the country where our services are hosted, your information may be processed in jurisdictions that have different data protection laws than your own.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
