Privacy Policy

The app stores preferences and activity locally on your phone or tablet, including language and theme settings, onboarding status, lesson bookmarks and completion status, quiz progress, Shield Check history, and usage counters for free and Premium limits.

This local data is not uploaded to our servers unless you choose a feature that requires network access.

When you submit text for Shield Check analysis, the text you paste, your selected app language, your RevenueCat app user identifier, and usage counters needed to enforce free or Premium limits are sent to our Supabase Edge Function.

Our server forwards the submitted text to an AI provider (currently OpenAI) to generate a neutral analysis of persuasion techniques. We do not use Shield Check submissions to train AI models.

Do not paste sensitive personal information into Shield Check unless you are comfortable sending that text for processing.

Premium is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment processing is handled by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to validate Premium entitlements; RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement information from the store and an anonymous app user identifier.

We do not receive your full payment card details.

If you enable daily notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device. Notification content is generated locally from bundled educational content.

MindShield does not sell your personal information and does not use cross-app advertising tracking. We do not knowingly collect information for targeted advertising.

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it from within the app or uninstall MindShield.

Shield Check requests are processed to return an analysis. We do not maintain a user account database inside the app for general browsing activity.

You can delete Shield Check history from within the app, disable notifications in Settings, and uninstall the app to remove locally stored data.

Premium purchases can be restored through the Restore Purchases option.

MindShield is an educational app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
