Privacy Policy

Switchroo is designed to work without creating an account. Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

• •Content you provide. Text you enter to receive AI-generated reflections, including conversation history you choose to save.
• •App data stored on your device. Settings, usage statistics, saved history, and premium status are stored locally using your device's storage.
• •Purchase information. If you purchase Switchroo Premium, payment processing is handled by Apple or Google. We receive purchase and entitlement status through RevenueCat, not your full payment card details.
• •Technical data. When you request an AI response, your prompt and related request data are sent to our servers to generate a reply. Standard device and connection information may also be processed by our infrastructure providers.

We use information to:

• •Generate AI responses and deliver App features
• •Store your history and preferences on your device
• •Verify premium purchases and restore entitlements
• •Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
• •Respond to support requests

To generate responses, prompts you submit are transmitted to our backend and processed using third-party AI services, including OpenAI. These providers process data according to their own terms and policies.

We also use service providers that help us operate the App, including:

• •Supabase — backend infrastructure
• •OpenAI — AI response generation
• •RevenueCat — in-app purchase and entitlement management
• •Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing

Conversation history, settings, and stats are stored on your device unless you delete them using in-app controls. You can export or delete your history at any time from Settings.

Prompts sent for AI generation may be temporarily processed on our servers and by our providers. We do not use your prompts to train our own models. Third-party providers may retain data according to their policies.

• •Manage App Store or Play Store purchase and privacy settings through your platform account

Switchroo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

If you use Switchroo from outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
